2024 – Starting with the popular Loh Hei

Lo Hei (cantonese for “tossing good fortune”) is a popular Singaporean and Malaysian Lunar New Year tradition involving the “Prosperity Toss” of Yu Sheng, a raw fish salad. Participants gather around a platter, tossing ingredients high with chopsticks while shouting auspicious phrases. It symbolizes abundance, prosperity, and joy.
